Over the last 5 years the Opera has engaged in the production, shooting and live video streaming of a number of its shows, earning top rankings nationally in this sector.
Following in the steps of the major international Opera Houses the Modena Opera started in 2013 live broadcasts of its production. The project was made possible thanks to a collaboration with the cutting edge EDUNOVA E-Learning Center of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
The Modena Opera Live streaming is open to everyone for free on the institutional YouTube channel. All people interested can subscribe to get a full programme on the upcoming events.
A good number of works have been live streamed since the beginning of the project, among others Rigoletto (2014), Don Giovanni (2015), Nabucco (2015), L’amico Fritz (2016), Lucia Di Lammermoor (2016), Gianni Schicchi (2017), Attila (2017), I Puritani (2017), Avrò Dunque Sognato! (2017) e il Tabarro (2018). All these were live streamed on the YouTube channel of the Modena Opera for free and all were attended by thousands of spectators all over the world.
